Kelly Reynolds is great at bringing a diverse group of people into her books, and Addicted to Glove is no exception to that. With the group of people that is in each book, you see familiar characters from past books and others that might be in future books. (One could really hope.) As Addicted to Glove is the fourth book in the Rose City Roasters series, but don’t worry. The past characters that do show up are just side characters, and you don’t need to know what happened in past books to enjoy this book.
Kelly takes time with her characters and shows them all respect. She also doesn’t do the unnecessary drama. So, for all of those people who do not like third-act breakups Addicted to Glove is perfect for you. There is no third-act breakup, and the adults in this story actually act like adults.
Of course, this wouldn’t be a Kelly Reynolds book without the spice. She brought the spice game to this book, and Addicted to Glove is getting four chili peppers. As a whole, I really enjoyed the story that Addicted to Glove told. I am giving this book three and a half stars.
