Lovewell Lane by Ansley B. Calloway is the first book in the Honeyfield Dreamers series. This is a brand-new series, and it is great to see a small-town romance that doesn’t say, if you like Gilmore Girls, you’re going to love this. This small town is a little bit different as it’s kind of struggling, and the festival they put on didn’t sell many tickets.
It was great to see how the female lead was able to help get the festival to be how it was and get the male lead to let down his wall he was putting up to protect himself. Lovewell Lane was an okay Romance read and was a good cleanser to restart after I was finished reading a book. Lovewell Lane did some time jumps, which normally is okay, but I felt like they were a bit jumpy and not put together well.
As this was an okay read, I am giving this three stars. This is a book that I say you don’t need to get right away, but you should put it on your TBR to read at some point. There is a bit a spice making Lovewell Lane have two chili peppers.
